Congratulations to all of our dancers who participated in the "Nuvo" and "Hollywood Connection" conventions and competitions in January! 

We are so proud of each of our students for your efforts both in class and on stage!  Your hard work definitely paid off, as we know you had lots fun and learned a ton in the process! 

And we want to give an extra special shout out to Mr. Brandon, whose choreography for the senior small group piece "After Hours" took home the 'Best Choreography' Award for the entire Hollywood Connection Competition!  "After Hours" also won the competition's 'Overall High Score'!  Way to go TP!!!

Recital 2012 is quickly approaching!!!

If you have not yet turned in your costume order forms and deposits for the recital, we need you to do so immediately!  Some of the costume companies take 12 to 16 weeks to process orders, so it is imperative that we finish placing all orders by the end of the month to ensure that they arrive in time for the performance. 

In addition, please remember that the $50 recital fee per family is supposed to be paid at the end of January.  If necessary, you may make payments towards your recital fee over the next few months.  You can speak with any of our receptionists at your convienence if you would like to set up a payment plan.  Don't forget that by paying this recital fee, you will receive a recital DVD and one finale t-shirt.  Order forms for the DVD and t-shirt will be sent home in the spring.

Convention and Competition season is now upon us!!!

"Jump" will be held at the Deaborn Hyatt Regency on March 16th, 17th, and 18th.

All of our company lines will be ready to compete at Jump, and we are keeping our fingers crossed that all of our solos, trios, and small groups will be ready as well!!!  Therefore, all competition team members are required to attend the convention.  We also highly recommend these wonderful learning opportunites for any of our other serious dancers!!!  Check with your teachers or the desk for more information if you are interested.

The Turning Pointe was the "best dance studio" winner in the WDIV Vote 4 The Best contest!

We would like to thank all of our wonderful students and their families for voting in this contest!!!  We sincerely appreciate all of your voting efforts and, even more, we are so very grateful for your continued support of our studio and staff!  All of us here at The Turning Pointe are thrilled to have the opportunity to teach such terrific and talented dancers each and every week, and we are truly fortunate to have such dedicated and helpful parents and families!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

TP GOES ZUMBA!!!  

Are you ready for a great workout?!?  We are now offering four different Zumba classes each week - on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7:30 to 8:30pm and on Saturdays from 11:30 to 12:30.  Click on 'fitness classes' on our main menu bar for more information on this and all of our fitness programs!
